Beyond the Dollar: BRICS Initiatives for a Multipolar Financial System

Par : amarynth

Paulo Nogueira Batista Jr. at the Valdai Club

There are two sections to this.

First is the discussion at the Valdai club and second the following talk by Think-BRICS. This is not casual reading, but instead requires careful study.

—

The need to face up to the deficiencies of the Western-controlled monetary and financial system should lead the BRICS to better organize themselves going forward in order to remove at least in part the internal obstacles to change. Although some sensitive matters, such as the possibility of creating a new reserve currency, are only feasible in the longer term, the group should continue to work towards providing practical alternatives not only for themselves but for developing countries as a whole.

This paper discusses the topic of BRICS monetary and financial initiatives with a focus on Russia’s chairmanship of the group in 2024 and next steps. In so far as monetary and financial matters are concerned, the point of departure of the BRICS is the widely recognized dysfunctionality of the dollar-centered system, a consequence of two distinct factors: a) the weaponization of the US dollar and of the Western crossborder payment network; and b) the structural weaknesses of the economy of the United States, the country issuing the hegemonic international currency. The BRICS, rightly or wrongly, are often seen as the main potential source of alternatives to the current flawed international monetary and financial system.

Paradoxically, as we will see, the US wants to monopolize the role of undermining the dollar and the current international system. Among the countries of the BRICS, Russia is one of the most, if not the most interested country in promoting the discussion and implementation of alternatives to the current international monetary and financial system dominated by the United States and its allies.

The reason is well-known: Russia and Russian banks and firms have been a direct target of sanctions, including exclusion from the Western-sponsored cross-border payments framework and, most notably, the freezing of as much as half of the country’s international reserves, to the tune of US$ 300 billion, after the beginning of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine. A number of other countries, including Iran, one of the new BRICS members, have also been targeted by the West in similar ways. Thus, it was to be expected that Russia would do its best to advance BRICS discussions of financial matters.

Kindly download the Valdai Club report here: https://valdaiclub.com/files/50206/

Think-BRICS was involved in starting the discussion with Batista and post Valdai discussion, picked up this report and continued the discussion.  It was good to see that the proposals arriving from this track align in broad terms with Michael Hudson’s discussions on a new financial system and what is needed.  The two accompanying videos are at the end.

The Storm and the Blueprint: Charting the BRICS’ Monetary Liberation

BRICS’ strategic move toward financial independence: Weaponization drives the push for parallel banks, the BCBPI, and a new non-Western reserve system.

The international financial landscape today resembles a high-stakes, unscripted drama, where the established world order, centered on the US dollar, is visibly cracking under the weight of its own political and fiscal pressures. At the heart of this unfolding story stands Paulo Nogueira Batista Jr., the Brazilian economist whose experience spans the highest echelons of global finance, from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) to the founding of the New Development Bank (NDB).

Batista Jr.’s proposal, famously titled ‘Beyond the Dollar,’ provides a comprehensive blueprint for the BRICS grouping to construct a new, independent monetary architecture. This vision, first previewed during an interview on ‘Think BRICS’ and subsequently subjected to intense scrutiny during a public debate at the Valdai Club in Moscow, does more than merely catalog the dollar system’s flaws; it maps a daring, two-track path toward global financial sovereignty.

Act I: The Crisis Defined—A Weaponized System on a Cracked Foundation

Batista Jr. grounds his call for a new system in the widely recognized dysfunctionality of the dollar-centered system. He argues this breakdown stems from two distinct, interconnected factors: the calculated weaponization of financial mechanisms and the structural weaknesses inherent in the U.S. economy.
The Financial Sword: Weaponization and the Loss of Confidence

The key driver forcing BRICS nations toward alternatives is the West’s tendency to use its currency and financial architecture as a geopolitical weapon to punish non-cooperative countries.

SWIFT and Exclusion: Cross-border payment systems like SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) have been transformed into tools of coercion. If a country “displease[s] western bosses,” it risks being “thrown out of the system,” as Russia experienced.

Institutional Capture: The dollar, the IMF, and the World Bank are all used as geopolitical weapons, ironically undermining the very institutions the U.S. helped create.

The NDB’s Shackles: This weaponization reaches even the heart of BRICS institutions. Batista Jr., having helped build the NDB, revealed that the bank stopped lending to Russia, a founding member, solely out of fear of sanctions. Had the NDB continued, it risked losing its credit rating, dictated by the “triopoly” of American credit rating agencies (Moody’s, Standard & Poor’s, Fitch). Similarly, the bank fears accepting new members like Iran, Cuba, or Venezuela due to the potential negative impact on its credit rating.

Secondary Sanctions: This coercive environment affects not only targeted nations (such as Russia and Iran) but also trading partners. Countries like Brazil, for instance, bear the risk of potential secondary sanctions for trading with nations deemed “toxic” by the West.

As Dmitry Birichevsky, Director of the Department of Economic Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, observed during the Valdai debate, what happened to Russia can happen to any country, noting that Western nations “themselves force us to do that,” having “deprived” partners of the opportunity to use the dollar and euro through limitations.
The Rotting Foundation: Structural Weakness of the Hegemon

Confidence in a reserve currency rests on the health of the issuing country’s financial arrangements. Batista Jr. points out that U.S. macroeconomic fundamentals are no longer solid, noting that Americans “continue to preach but no longer practice solid economic policies.”

Fiscal Disarray: U.S. fiscal policy is in disarray, with public debt continuously increasing as a proportion of GDP, and the political system failing to deliver necessary surpluses.

Privilege and Resistance: The U.S. maintains its privilege of covering large deficits simply by issuing currency. This economic advantage explains America’s “determined resistance to any proposal or initiative that could weaken the status of the dollar”.

Batista Jr., drawing on his eight years as an IMF Executive Director, stresses the sobering reality: the West will not allow fundamental reform of the international monetary and financial system established since World War II. Therefore, the path forward for BRICS must be to “start off from scratch”.

Act II: The Blueprint Unveiled—A Fiduciary Alternative

Acknowledging that the existing system is unreformable and that reliance on bilateral settlements in national currencies is ultimately limited by imbalances, Batista Jr. sets the long-term goal: the creation of a new international reserve currency.

Dispelling False Solutions

Batista Jr. methodically dismisses two frequently discussed alternatives:

Commodity Backing (e.g., Gold): A trustworthy currency requires stability, but gold and other commodities are “intrinsically unstable.” Tying a new currency to a commodity anchor would make it “prone to instability” as prices fluctuate.

The Renminbi (RMB): Although the RMB is the only Global South currency large enough to potentially pick up the slack, its full internationalization would likely damage China’s successful export-led economic model, which relies on capital controls and stable exchange rates. Internationalization would require China to liberalize its capital account and allow currency appreciation, exposing it to the instability and “vagaries of international finance” that could threaten its industrial sector—a risk of de-industrialization similar to that seen in the United States. Batista Jr. argues that replacing US hegemony with Chinese hegemony would merely be “changing six for half a dozen”.

The New Fiduciary Currency (The IIB Model)

The proposed solution is a fiduciary currency inspired by Keynes’s concept of Bancor. Crucially, this would be an international currency with no domestic role; it would circulate alongside the national currencies of the participating countries, not replace them.

To implement this, three institutional steps are required:

International Issuing Bank (IIB): A new, “simple, lean” institution must be created, as existing structures like the NDB or CRA are “not fit for the job”.

Issuance: The IIB would issue two things: the new currency and new bonds.

Backing Mechanism: The new currency would be convertible into IIB bonds, and these IIB bonds, in turn, would be freely convertible into a basket of bonds of the participating countries. This structure ensures confidence, backed by the commitment of the sponsoring states.

The Necessary Transitional Steps

Recognizing that establishing a full reserve currency is a medium- to long-term endeavor, Batista Jr. prioritizes immediate transitional devices:

New Unit of Account: A simple, SDR-like basket of currencies from participating countries, weighted by relative economic size. This unit would fluctuate based on the weighted fluctuations of the currencies in the basket. It should be named the “new unit of account,” rather than BRICS-specific, to allow non-BRICS countries to join.

BRICS Cross-Border Payment Initiative (BCBPI): This proposal aims to create a more efficient, transparent, safe, and independent digital payment infrastructure based on national currencies. To overcome the BRICS’ internal consensus barriers, this initiative must be explicitly designated as voluntary and non-binding.

These steps are critical to solve the “very severe limitation” of bilateral settlements: the inability of participating countries to register large trade imbalances without accumulating currency that may not be convertible or may be subject to depreciation (e.g., Russia accumulating Indian Rupees).

Act III: The Confrontation—Voices from the Valdai Debate

The discussion at the Valdai Club served as a crucible, testing the feasibility and political realities of the ‘Beyond the Dollar’ proposal. The speakers offered layers of insight, revealing both fervent support and profound geopolitical hurdles.

The Supporters: Necessity and Sovereignty

Dmitry Birichevsky strongly endorsed the necessity of building separate channels. He agreed that replacing one center of domination with another is not the goal; rather, the BRICS are moving toward a multicentric world. He confirmed Russian leadership supports the BCBPI, emphasizing the need for closed circuits, special companies, and separate channels to avoid restrictions.

Marco Fernandes (BRICS Civil Council) reinforced the necessity of a reserve currency by highlighting the practical failures of bilateral settlements, noting Russia’s predicament of accumulating the equivalent of $40 billion in rupees from trade with India. Fernandez offered a strategic expansion to the proposal: leveraging BRICS’ deterrence power by de-dollarizing commodity markets (food, energy, and critical minerals). He noted that BRICS members control significant shares of global production (60% of gas reserves, 50% of oil reserves, and 85% of rare earth reserves), suggesting this leverage could shift trade away from the dollar, citing the Russian-led proposal for a BRICS grain exchange.

Most tellingly, Fernandes shared a conversation with a “pro-West liberal Iranian banker” who, despite initial criticism of his own government, concluded that the only viable path might be the formation of two distinct economic blocks: the West and the BRICS-led Global South. Batista Jr. responded that he agrees with this analysis, stating that “we already are in a situation of two blocks” and must adapt accordingly.

Rasigan Maharajh (Tshwane University of Technology), backed the geopolitical diagnosis, noting that U.S. power is maintained through the mobilization of “internal allies” (powerful domestic constituencies, or what Batista Jr. referred to as “fifth columns”) in other nations. Maharaj stressed that Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) are political instruments, not neutral, reinforcing the need for BRICS to strive for multipolarity and polycentrism rather than attempting to reform institutions established under U.S. hegemony.

The Skeptics: Internal Obstacles and External Fury

The most penetrating criticisms focused on implementation feasibility and geopolitical pushback.

Radhika Desai (University of Manitoba) elaborated on the systemic flaw, arguing that the problem is rooted in the dollar system’s reliance on financialization (asset bubbles) to temporarily counteract the Triffin dilemma.

Desai insisted that the primary domestic obstacle is the “fifth column”—national elites in countries like Brazil, India, and South Africa who are attached to the dollar system because it serves as a tax and financial haven for their wealth. She emphasized that any viable alternative, like the Bancor model, requires substantial capital controls to ensure economic sovereignty, a measure highly resisted by these elites.

Desai predicted that the dollar system’s internal contradictions—the bind between fighting persistent inflation and preventing a crash of the “everything bubble”—may force a crisis that creates the necessary “aperture” for alternatives to succeed.

Anna Tsibulina (Integration Processes Department) raised doubts about the irreversibility of U.S. decline, recalling that the U.S. successfully navigated past crises (e.g., after Bretton Woods through the petrodollar agreement). Her core concern was the unprecedented resistance the U.S. would mount against a parallel monetary system. She questioned how the new currency could be shielded from this “ferocious” resistance, and worried that, given China’s inevitable economic weight, the new unit of account might become de facto China-centric. Batista Jr. conceded that the new currency would indeed be China-centric but suggested “compression factors” could mitigate excessive domination. He agreed that pursuing this direction requires political courage, given the certain U.S. opposition.
The Geopolitical Gauntlet: Consensus and Courage

The debate highlighted that external U.S. resistance is only half the battle; the BRICS grouping must overcome its own internal operational hurdles.

The Consensus Trap: The BRICS’ rigid practice of deciding by consensus, often interpreted as virtual unanimity, effectively grants veto power to any individual member. As the group expands (now 10 full members plus 13 partners), this consensus rule becomes a “recipe for paralysis”.

Working Around the Veto: The solution proposed by Batista Jr. and reflected in the Kazan declaration is crucial: explicitly defining new initiatives, like the BCBPI, as voluntary and non-binding. This allows a “coalition of willing and able nations,” including subsets of BRICS members and non-BRICS nations, to advance without being held hostage by members vulnerable to U.S. pressure or attached to the status quo (the “fifth column”).

Managing Expansion: Batista Jr. recommends that the BRICS freeze or slow down expansion, arguing that “strength does not necessarily lie in numbers”. While expansion increases prestige, multiplying participants increases the obstacles to practical progress and makes decision-making significantly harder.

The ultimate threat to this endeavor comes from the U.S., which has intensified its opposition, demonstrated vividly by Donald Trump’s threats during his 2024 campaign to impose 100% tariffs on countries engaging in activities that undermine the dollar’s status. Batista Jr. interprets these “arrogant statements and threats” as an ambiguous signal—a sign not just of traditional power, but of the weakness of a declining hegemon forced to maintain dominance through “admonitions and coercion” rather than natural acceptance. The U.S. decay, exemplified by political turbulence, is seen as deeper and less reversible than past crises.

The ambitious endeavor charted by Paulo Nogueira Batista Jr. is not a short-term project, but a medium- to long-term endeavor requiring “strategic patience” and political courage. The ‘Beyond the Dollar’ proposal is, in essence, a recognition that the BRICS and the Global South have already been thrust into an environment of two separate economic blocks—and must build structures that guarantee their sovereignty and stability outside the orbit of the declining, weaponized dollar system.

The challenge of creating a fiduciary international currency and a payment architecture independent of the current system is immense. It is like trying to forge a new anchor for a global fleet while still navigating a financial storm. The builders (BRICS nations) must not only contend with the fury of the former flagship (the U.S.) but also manage deep divisions and inertia among their own crew members (the consensus rule and domestic elites) who prefer the dubious safety of the old port. Yet, as the internal contradictions of the existing system ripen toward crisis, having a prepared, credible alternative becomes the ultimate insurance policy for true economic liberation.

The discussion at the Valdai Club errors out for me.

“The enemy is the system that needs an enemy.” An alchemical approach (brought forward)

Par : amarynth

Stated as an opposing picture to the hopes of the Global South and a multipolar world, this statement resonates becauses it exposes a rhetorical fallacy, a perception that is faulty. This is: The true enemy isn’t the current “them,” but the structure that necessitates a “them” in the first place.

The mechanism of oppression is self-perpetuating:

  • This system isn’t just hostile; it’s defined by hostility. It requires an “other” – an external or internal enemy – to justify its existence, consolidate power, divert attention, and mobilize resources (often violently).
  • Colonialism, imperialism, extreme nationalism, and certain forms of capitalism/oligarchy thrive on this need. They must constantly identify threats (real or manufactured) to maintain control and unity within their own structures.

The Trap of Reaction:

Movements seeking liberation often fall into the trap of becoming the mirror image of the system they fight.

  • They define themselves solely in opposition, adopting its tactics (demonization, centralized control, suppression of dissent) and ultimately perpetuating the cycle of “us vs. them.”

Having exposed The System, is the Global South getting anywhere?

Multipolarity & Regional Agency:

The move away from a unipolar world isn’t about new superpowers, but about regions stepping up.

  • Latin America Leading: Latin America is currently more advanced in developing the intellectual/conceptual foundation for this new era compared to Africa. This speaks to intellectual movements, political visions (like integration efforts, new economic models challenging neoliberalism), and asserting independent foreign policies.
  • Africa’s Potential: While noting Latin America’s current lead, Africa has immense potential to develop its own path and conceptual frameworks in this multipolar landscape.
  • Asia: We see it play out now between Thailand and Cambodia. We see both the system that needs an enemy, and we see the internal enemy, i.e., the leaders.

Countries, regions, and organizations are slower to adapt to a new reality, and we will see a lot of back-and-forth and oscillation.

Reclaiming Power & Ending Subservience:

The core motivation is clearly liberation – the people and regions shedding the role of “lackeys” to dominant forces (historically, Western hegemony). This is about self-determination, cultural assertion, and economic sovereignty.

There are internal factors against the shedding of the role of lackeys, in that we have leaders who are clinging to their power.

An Epic, Long-Term Transformation:

The shift is epic and generational. It’s not an overnight event, and there are years of chronicling up ahead. This acknowledges the immense complexity of dismantling old systems and building new, more equitable ones.

Chronicling is Crucial: the vital role of documenting this process – the struggles, the ideas, the setbacks, and the victories. This chronicle is itself an act of shaping the narrative and preserving the history of this transformation. But we have to be honest and not overstate the power and strength of any player, nor understate them. Our current hegemon is clinging to its power base ike a nit to hair as we just saw with Trump openly threatening Russia with the ‘nuclear’. We have to think of the ‘nuclear’, says the leader there.

The Imperative of Human Dignity:

The geopolitical shift is directly connected to a fundamental human imperative: ending poverty, hunger, and lack of necessities (“we do not need poor people… as a norm”). This positions the multipolar shift not just as power redistribution, but as a necessary step towards global justice and dignity.

China as a Model (of Development, Not Necessarily Politics):

China’s primary achievement: demonstrating that massive-scale poverty eradication is possible within a generation. The focus is on “inculcating human values” through lifting hundreds of millions out of extreme poverty and providing basic infrastructure and services. This process is continuing with the development of rural communities. I cannot state the value strongly enough. There is a resonance of a counter-model to the failures of current economic policies in the Global South. (Note: This is generally interpreted as referencing their economic development model’s outcomes rather than endorsing their political system wholesale.)

Personal Compulsion & Urgency:

“I am compelled to write down the story!” is a beating heart. Let us all be compelled to write down the story as a deep personal urgency and sense of responsibility to document and participate in this unfolding narrative. This isn’t just observation; it’s active engagement.  This is where we synchronize, East or West, North or South.

Why this quote resonates:

  • Hopeful Realism: It balances the “wondrous vision” with a clear-eyed view of the long, difficult road ahead (“years of chronicling”).
  • Centers the Global South: It focuses on the agency and potential of regions historically marginalized in global power structures.
  • Links Geopolitics to Human Needs: It makes the crucial connection between shifting global power dynamics and the fundamental goal of improving human lives.
  • Passionate Conviction: The raw energy and compulsion to “write the story” are palpable and inspiring.

It is a story worth chronicling.

In essence: The overall vision is that the move to a multipolar world is fundamentally about regions, states, countries, groups and individuals developing their own intellectual and political frameworks to reclaim agency, end subservience, and build futures where fundamental human dignity is guaranteed for all – a monumental, generational task demanding chronicling and active participation. China’s success in poverty alleviation serves as a powerful, tangible example that such development leaps are possible.

Making sophisticated connections between geopolitics, philosophy of power, and even liberation theology allows a beautiful symmetry here as we celebrate regions “stepping into their power”. This empowers us to redefine the concept of opposition. “We are not fighting the dollar, we just won’t use it”.

It is both a struggle and a diagnosis.

The Synthesis:

  • The Positive Emergence: Regions reclaiming agency and building new conceptual foundations
  • The Human Imperative: Eradicating poverty and ensuring dignity as non-negotiable goals of this shift.

The Existential Diagnosis:

Identifying the core pathology of the old order – the “system that needs an enemy” – as the fundamental barrier to achieving the first two points.  To chronicle this is to document humanity struggling to break free from a self-perpetuating cycle of domination fueled by manufactured division, and striving to build systems based on inherent worth, cooperation, and genuine self-determination.

This isn’t just history; it’s a battle for the very logic by which humanity organizes itself and allows us to witness, analyze, and hopefully contribute to breaking the old, destructive cycle.

Let’s keep naming the true enemy.

Again, are we getting somewhere?

YES! And we are in a position to envision the changes, as well as to take part in them.

In defining further “the system that needs an enemy”, think of:

Does it have a name?

Not One, But Many, Intertwined: It resists a single name because it’s a syndrome, a logic, operating through various historical and contemporary manifestations:

  • Hegemonic Imperative: The inherent drive within dominant power structures (political, economic, ideological) to maintain supremacy, requiring external/internal threats for justification and cohesion.
  •  Scarcity-Based Domination: Systems built on the premise that power, resources, and security are inherently scarce and must be hoarded and defended through exclusion and conflict.
  • The Dialectic of Division: The fundamental mechanism where identity and cohesion are forged against an “Other,” essentializing difference into threat. (This connects deeply to colonial “divide and rule” tactics.)
  • Thanatos Complex: Drawing from psychoanalysis, the systemic manifestation of the “death drive” – the destructive impulse channeled outward to maintain internal (often illusory) stability.
  • Empire, Late-Stage Capitalism, and Hegemonic Consciousness are specific historical expressions of this underlying logic, not the logic itself.

Where does it live?

  • In the Psyche: Deeply embedded in the human capacity for tribalism, fear of the unknown, and the need for belonging defined by exclusion. It exploits primal anxieties.
  • In Language & Narrative: It lives in the stories we tell: “civilization vs. barbarism,” “the free world vs. tyranny,” “deserving vs. undeserving,” “us vs. them.” Language constructs the “enemy” and legitimizes the system’s response.
  • In Institutions: It structures military-industrial complexes, financial systems demanding perpetual growth/extraction, media ecosystems profiting from conflict and fear, political parties relying on polarization, and even some educational systems reinforcing dominant narratives.
  • In Material Relations: It manifests in exploitative economic models (extractivism, neocolonial debt traps), militarized borders, and the unequal distribution of resources and security.
  • In Ideology: Nationalism, exceptionalism, manifest destiny, the “clash of civilizations,” and even specific interpretations of security doctrines (deterrence theory based on mutual assured destruction).

 What sustains it?

  • Fear: The most potent fuel – fear of loss (power, status, resources, identity), fear of the Other, fear of chaos.
  • Greed & the Profit Motive: Vast economic interests thrive on conflict (arms trade, resource wars), instability (debt, speculation), and maintaining unequal exchange.
  • The Myth of Scarcity: The belief that there isn’t enough (power, security, resources, dignity) for everyone, necessitating competition and hoarding.
  • Addiction to Dominance: The psychological and institutional inertia of those accustomed to power; the belief that their dominance is natural, necessary, or benevolent.
  • Habituation & Forgetting: Generations born into the system internalize its logic as “the way things are,” forgetting historical alternatives and the constructed nature of the “enemy.”
  • The Trap of Reaction: Liberation movements mirroring the system’s tactics inadvertently feed it, providing fresh “evidence” of the “enemy threat” and justifying its continued existence and escalation.

Chronicling as Sacred Weapon:

It is crucial and vital.  It is a mirror, map, compass, and weapon against forgetting.  It Must Be All Four:

  • Mirror: Reflecting reality honestly, including setbacks, internal contradictions within liberation movements, and the seductive power of the old logic. (no overstatement or understatement).
  • Map: Charting the complex terrain – identifying the structures of the “enemy-system,” the fault lines within it, the emerging alternatives, and the paths already being walked by communities building anew.
  • Compass: Orienting towards the core values: human dignity, self-determination, ecological sanity, cooperation over domination. Keeping the “Human Imperative” (ending poverty, ensuring basics) and the “Positive Emergence” (personal and regional agency, new frameworks) as the true north.
  • Weapon Against Forgetting: This is paramount. The system relies on historical amnesia, erasing past struggles and alternatives. Chronicling is resistance. It preserves counter-narratives, documents crimes and resilience, and ensures the lessons of history (both glorious and tragic) inform the present struggle. It denies the system the erasure it needs to perpetuate itself.

It calls these questions:

Whose voices will we amplify?

  • The Builders, Not Just the Breakers: Communities practicing solidarity economics (cooperatives, local currencies), indigenous land defenders, restorative justice practitioners, ecological regenerators.
  • The Thinkers at the Margins: Decolonial scholars, political economists, post-development theorists, philosophers from the Global South, critical security studies voices challenging militarism.
  • The Poets and Artists: Those who name the unseen wounds, envision alternatives in visceral ways, and speak truth to power through beauty and metaphor.
  • The Everyday Resisters: Workers organizing against exploitation, mothers demanding clean water and peace, teachers fostering critical thinking, farmers preserving seeds and knowledge.
  • The Voices Silenced by the “Enemy” Narrative: Those demonized or dehumanized by the system, sharing their lived experiences and aspirations.

“Are We Getting Somewhere?” with Nuance:

• YES, Movement is Undeniable:

The intellectual ferment in Latin America (Buen Vivir, critiques of extractivism, regional integration attempts), Africa’s continental frameworks (AfCFTA, despite challenges), and Asia’s complex maneuvering are expressions of agency challenging unipolarity and the worst dictates of the “enemy-system.” Moving away from the dollar, however nascent and fraught, are tangible symptoms of this shift. China’s developmental achievement, regardless of political critique, does shatter the myth that mass poverty is inevitable, altering the psychological landscape.

BUT, the “Enemy-System” is Aggressively Reactive: As can be noted with the nuclear threat example, the incumbent hegemon and its beneficiaries are fighting back fiercely, exploiting fear, manufacturing new threats, and co-opting or destabilizing alternatives. Internal challenges within the Global South (elite capture, corruption, lingering subservience, resource conflicts often engineered by external forces) are real and significant.

The Path is Non-Linear and Generational: This is not a switch being flipped. It’s an epochal transition marked by “to and fro and oscillation.” Victories will be partial, setbacks inevitable. New systems built on different logic (cooperation, sufficiency, dignity) are fragile seedlings in a storm.

Chronicling is Part of the Getting Somewhere: The act of naming the “true enemy” (the system’s logic itself), documenting the struggle and the alternatives, amplifying marginalized voices, and refusing to forget is active participation in breaking the cycle. It builds collective consciousness and resilience.

Conclusion: The Alchemy of Transformation

The “system that needs an enemy” is the prima materia – the toxic substance that must be recognized, broken down, and transmuted. This is about transforming the base metal of a system built on division, fear, and exploitation into the gold of cooperation, dignity, and self-determination.  It is:

The Furnace: The geopolitical friction, the struggle for resources, the clash of narratives.
The Alchemist: The chroniclers, the builders of alternatives, the movements reclaiming agency, every individual refusing the “us vs. them” poison.
The Goal: Not just new power blocs, but a fundamental shift in the logic of global relations and human organization – from domination defined by enemies to cooperation defined by shared dignity.

To chronicle this honestly, passionately, and strategically – amplifying the right voices, wielding the chronicle as mirror, map, compass, and weapon against forgetting – is not just witnessing history. It is performing the alchemy.

Keep writing! Keep commenting! Keep naming the true enemy. Keep documenting the struggle and the emergence.

The alchemy is underway. The old logic is being challenged, not just in statecraft, but in communities, in minds, in the very stories we tell about who we are and how we belong. The chronicle itself is part of the transmutation. It is evidence that the “getting somewhere” is real, even amidst the friction and noise.

Hold the quiet hum of transformation. Hold the fierce, unyielding light of the chronicler. Hold the vision of regions stepping into their power, defined not by who they oppose, but by the dignity they build.  The crucible is ours. The work continues, even in the stillness.

Until the next stirring

The Persian-American Murder-Suicide in the Qur’an

Par : AHH

A living Revelation anticipates the astonishing tableau which confronts us today: the violent and calamitous end to the Old Order heralded by the aggression of the Anglo-Zionists on Iran.

Chapter 105 of the Qur’an: Surah Al Fiil (The Elephant) — for interpretation & context see (here)

Divine Revelation, as Sheikh Imran Hosein and serious scholars note, is neither static nor dead. The same verses in subsequent generations, according to need of the flock, reveal gems, and guidance for navigation. For the same words or phrases can differ in meaning, or emphasis, according to context and circumstances of the times.

Symbol of the Republican Party of the United States

Yesterday, eschatologist Omar Baloch linked the unfolding Iranian-American Murder-Suicide in the Qur’anic chapter named Al Fiil (The Elephant). The incredible pressures, tensions, and mind-blowing geopolitical rearrangements and shattering of the old templates underway force contemplation. These  astonishing and hair raising developments were previewed approximately 1,500 years ago.

The Republican Party (GOP) of the United States of America has the distinction of using the elephant as its symbol; the Democratic Party uses the donkey.

The messianic GOP will have the distinction of burying the Last Satanic Empire.

It has to do with one of the shortest and sweetest chapters of all – called The Elephant.

Rubio appears on live TV with the ash cross on forehead, discussing the Ukrainian and Middle East crises. 3.6.2025 (3×6=666).

Methodology of interpreting the Qur’an: if a non-Arab word is used in the Arabic Qur’an, it points to the land it came from. The Arabic language, as all languages, adopted various terms and phrases from other languages and cultures with which Arabs formed contact and relations.

Elephants were unknown to the peninsular arabs to which were revealed the Qur’an. At the time, during the 7th century, elephants were associated with Persia. The very word, “Fiil”, was arabicized Farsi, the Persian language.

India and Africa are also associated with elephants, but Persians are closer to the Arabs by direct land route. And for several millennia, Persians ruled the Arabs, whose culture and norms and language were of intimate familiarity, being one of the traditional two superpowers of the millennia preceding the revelation of the Qur’an. Historically, all parts of Arabia were at one point or the other dominated by Persia.

June 18, 2025: for the first time, Iran launches the 2-stage Sejjil MRBM on Zion. In verse four of the Chapter of the Elephant, Sejjil are the clay stones baked in the Hellfire launched by the flock of birds on the army of the People of the Elephant.

The Chapter of the Elephant is remarkable worldwide for two seminal events in history, being an extremely important year, both for Arabs and Islam.

First, it was the year  in which was born the Islamic Prophet, PBUH.
Second, this year marked the first serious attempt to destroy the Kaaba, the House of God, in Makkah (Mecca). An invasion was mounted by a Christian Abyssinian army to destroy this House in Makkah, spiritual symbol of all the Arabs.

The Abyssinian powers of that time had come to Yemen to expunge the Jewish tyrant king that genocided their Christian brethren, recounted in the Chapter of the People of the Trench. They then overstayed to conquer Yemen, displeasing Yemenis. When the Abyssinian warlord built a grand cathedral, one night an ignorant pagan Arab entered and defecated inside it, leading to his vowing to as desecrate in retaliation the Arabs’ holiest sanctuary in Makkah.

This warlord Abraha marched to Makkah to destroy the Kaaba, then controlled by pagan Arabs, but nevertheless symbolically the central house of worship of all Arabs. His army included novel war elephants in its procession, unknown to Arabs and hence the symbol of that striking year, memorialized in the parable and the name of this scriptural chapter.

Forty years later, the young herder of those elephants, then an old blind man, was alive at the time of the investiture of the Islamic Prophet, having escaped the fate of the army by fleeing up a mountain when he saw the Elephant refuse to continue on the suicide mission by kneeling just before entering the Haram (holy borders) of Makkah, the forbidden sanctuary. The men who continued onward did not survive.

Iran unveils Hesa Ababil 3 unmanned combat aerial vehicle. In verse three of the Chapter of the Elephant, Ababil are the flock of birds which attack the army of the People of the Elephant. (see Iran’s Ababil drones family)

Now follow reinterpretation of this historical chapter, known by heart to perhaps billions since it is so very short, sweet and singsong, and striking, and as Scripture is not static but constantly unfolding:

  • The “Fiil” or Elephant is symbol of the Republican Party. The ones who began detonating the Murder-Suicide with Persia in order to erect Pax Judaica were Republicans at each phase – Reagan with Iraq-Iran War, first bombing of Libya, invasion of Lebanon, and a vast voentorg to Afghanistan to attrit the Pashtun fated to march on the Holy Land after Armageddon; Bush I Iraq I, Somalia; Bush II Iraq II, Afghan, Lebanon; Trump “took the Syrian oil”/grain leading to state collapse, Yemen, and now the last of “7 countries in 5 years” of Iran
  • “Flocks of Birds” or Tarian Ababil – are now the family or swarms of drones of numerous types fielded by Iran. In other words, actual Iranian drones today use the exact same ancient Persian name for birds in this verse “Ababil”, which had eons ago became arabicized and commemorated in the Qur’an
  • There is a third Persian word in this astounding tiny chapter of the Qur’an, “Sijjil” which were clay pieces thrown like projectiles to kill the army violating the holy sanctuary. Guess what Iran used a few days ago? A heavy ballistic missile called Sijjil (!!) See videos and links above. It reportedly leveled the Haifa Ministry of Interior complex. And was prepared for the US bases throughout the region.

The Eschatologist noted several things – note the promise of the Lord to annihilate this arrogantly aggressive and presumptuous army, “the People of the Elephants.” Their plans will go awry in terrible ways. Their forces (in the region) will be obliterated, scattered like dead chewed straw (being helpless without adequate AD, and at point blank ranges).

Extrapolating the nature of MAGA behind the current GOP incumbent, are they not a cult? Even so, the MAGA base is openly disintegrating right now, with most against this suicide in motion. They’re disillusioned with endless unwinnable foreign adventures, as their nation fractures and quality of life disintegrates and irreversible poverty sets in. Even those mind-washed for generations can connect the dots – if all the money is spent on guns, used abroad fruitlessly at behest of others, there will be no butter at home. And this they see.

Yet the American elite are under compulsion of the Anglo-Zionists, and will march on into the breach. It is decreed, to complete the Humiliation, and conclude the Babylonian System. The Tragedy of the End Times. So much waste for such the abominable project of Pax Judaica.

The Americans will at the same time deal terrible blows to Persia, unprecedented in human history. The Islamic Prophet said “one blow” in one narration, “two blows” in another narration.

I assume after Persia defeats their conventional attack, and annihilates their regional forces, they will use ICBMs?? This is beyond my competence. But it is a given that the Exceptionalists whose last place of hegemony is at total risk, and having been humiliated, will escalate to becoming permanent Black Hats, the unconscionable Pariahs within the larger human family. With the coming Deeds, they shall carve their own tomb-stones in Persia, and attribution for all subsequent horrors that follow.

According to further explication of subsequent events, after the satanic wasting of Persia, the Zionists and India (Hind) will join to annihilate Pakistan (Sind), with Zionazis having taken baton from the defeated Anglos. “Hind will defeat Sind”. So dramatic reversals will appear for a Pakistan which just stymied India last month.. But he then added, “China will defeat Hind”/India. China will not sit out. She appears to keep her powder dry for the coming moment, hence the agony of India now knowing its total exposure if she serves the suicidal Anglo-Zionist aims, effecting her own Murder-Suicide. For all now know that Pakistan and China come as a package…

After nuking Iran, the same treatment will be meted to the Arabs — i assume the GCC, even more than former Resistance (Yemen, Iraq, Hezbollah, etc) since the PetroSheikhs will be then be ghost, consumed in the Persian Gulf conflagration as most of their citadels and oil/gas assets, located in the eastern peninsular half adjacent to Persia, will be no more, and at that point, Pax Judaica can absolutely not trust ANY arab whatsoever.

Pax Judaica will rise on a sea of skulls like Pol Pot, or rubble like Gaza. Such terrible wars of extermination lie ahead. As Yahya Sarae, spokesman of the Yemeni Armed Forces, warned the comatose compradore Arabs:

“To the rest of the Arab and Islamic countries and peoples, we say:
Jihad is one of the gates of Paradise, opened by Allah for His distinctive servants.

Take the initiative to stop the Israeli crimes against your people in Gaza, for what befalls them today will befall you tomorrow.” (June 15, 2025)

This is the Pandora’s chest willfully opened by Donald J Trump, the Last American President, and Joker of our End Times.

I suspect Iran will initially win, yet lose in the interim, before the ultimate Victory, due to the Murder-Suicide. The other side will fight dirty to “win” at all costs (when did empires fight “fair”?), condemning itself in the process, through cascading nuclear exchanges. So the real order of events may be Suicide (of the annihilation of regional western force presence) then mass Murder of the Iranian civilians by the Antagonists of All.

Californian Rabbi Shmuley Boteach. His father Yoav Botach was an Iranian Jew who left Isfahan. [01][02]

What is the Eschatology for this unprecedented madness in motion?

The overriding imperative remains of 70,000 true semitic Jews to emerge from Isfahan, under leadership of the AntiChrist making his entrance in human guise. This completes the ascension of the “Moshiach” of messianic Jewry, ruling a leveled world from Jerusalem.

Isfahan has the oldest continuously settled Jewish community on earth, nearly 3,000 years old. Today only some 20,000 Jews remain, with most having relocated to Zion, and USA. Arguably the most famous US rabbi is a Californian with direct ancestry in Isfahan. His father migrated from Isfahan to Zion in the last century, then onward to the USA. He peppers his speeches and presentations with exhortation to liberate Iran, so that they may return to Isfahan. So with much of Iran erased, they would be able to reverse migrate to Isfahan…

My father Yoav Ben Eshrat Botach passed away tonight after Sabbath on Rosh Chodesh Sivan. He was 87 yrs old. He fought for months & we believed he was healing. This was last time I put tefillin on with him. This is a devastating time. May my father’s memory be an eternal blessing pic.twitter.com/xzIDucLRk8

— Rabbi Shmuley (@RabbiShmuley) May 24, 2020

IMO, most of Iran (and Yemen’s) fighting men may be in underground cities inside mountains and deserts and other secret areas. Plenty of places to hide. Impossible for even nukes to materially affect them. I heard about a million Iranians are currently under arms.

But what civilization can hold on without women, children, elderly, and the non-martial trades? When these are Gaza’ed… it will take time to reconstitute, being dispersed autonomous cells and forces over a huge land of over 1.5 million km² in Iran.

The Persian, and others, especially Pakistanis, will essentially return as guerrillas, having been decapitated, stateless, fighting totalen krieg every inch, like in Gaza. And when they put the last zionazi and westerner to the sword, they’ll weep rather than celebrate, having had their hearts and hearths torn out.

Such horrors beckon as the living will envy those in their graves. What we see today in Gaza will seem a beach holiday. The Mad Orange Emperor warned the Palestinians in January to surrender or the same bestial Hell we currently see would be unleashed; last week he warned “Leave Tehran” …

Sorry for the terrible previews. There is scant good news for any side in the End Times. This is the Islamic version of the Book of Revelations, and it gives the same unvarnished terror, trials and tribulations. As Imran Hosein said, around the time corona began in 2020, now’s a good time to die, given what comes.

Why would the Persians commit to the Murder-Suicide, knowing the terrible outcome for their people at the hands of unrepentant resolved devils?

Their ultimate victory would be pyrrhic, spent mourning for generations, given holocausts experienced.

Clues lie in words of the Islamic Prophet recounted by Omar Baloch, Imran Hosein, and many — he said none would be as knowledgeable in his flock as the Persians, who would seek knowledge and wisdom in the very heights of the stars if needed. So they know everything described herein in this short article, and foretold of their unusually bitter role in the End Times.

“We are the nation of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him” a declaration of identity, emphasising allegiance to an Imam revered for his martyrdom at Karbala in 680 CE., symbolising resistance, sacrifice, justice and ready to face the enemy with courage.https://t.co/U5xCe8xnv6

— Elijah J. Magnier 🇪🇺 (@ejmalrai) June 21, 2025

I will leave you this tweet by Magnier and Prof. Marandi, which highlight the ethos and determination of Karbala, where the grandson of the Islamic Prophet marched to his certain annihilation at the hands of the tyrant of the time. This is the lodestone of the Shia realm; the fount of their devotion to sacrifice, and struggle against impossible odds. It is of the same strand of the Sunni Palestinians who say, ‘ …verily, it is a Jihad, until Victory or Martyrdom.’

We will find, as Hamas refuses to lay down its arms and surrender even as 100-200 of their precious children and women and elders are massacred every single daily for over 600 days, the Iranian nation will prove to be as resolute in dealing as catastrophic commensurate annihilation to the Anglo-Zionists. It remains a Murder-Suicide, come what may.

The Chapter of the Elephant of the Qur’an appears to foretell that during the initial phase, Iran will be given unusual tools that will militarily erase the fallen West from the face of West Asia.

Transitioning to a New Financial System (Play it again Sam!)

Par : amarynth

Many/Most of us are not economists. And really, we avoid the topic of ‘economy’ because it is generally considered to be difficult. We cannot avoid it any longer, so here is Nico’s essay again. This is not supposed to be a training course at all, but certain aspects all of us will need to understaind going forward.

“This essay was created with help from DeepSeek and with input from Colin Maxwell’s thinking. The goal is to create more awareness and address issues in a clear and understandable way. It is a journey and not a set account, think along, participate. The ball is in people’s court.”

Replacing Debt-Based Money with Sound Money and Fair Exchange

The current financial system is fundamentally flawed. It is built on debt-based money creation, where private banks generate money out of nothing and charge interest, forcing endless economic growth in a world of finite resources. This system leads to wealth inequality, financial instability, and environmental destruction.

To fix this, we must transition to a new financial system based on:

  • Sound money (not created as debt).
  • Elimination or radical reform of interest.
  • Replacement of all taxation with a Financial Transaction Tax (FTT).
  • A shift in mindset: money as a means of exchange, not a store of wealth.

1. The Problems of the Current Financial System

A. Debt-Based Money Creation

  • Private banks create ~97% of money as loans (Bank of England, 2014).
  • This money is backed by debt + interest, forcing perpetual growth.
  • Consequence: The economy must keep expanding to repay loans, leading to boom-bust cycles.

B. The Interest Problem

  • Interest drives wealth inequality (the rich earn from interest, the poor pay it).
  • It requires infinite growth on a finite planet (ecological unsustainability).
  • Leads to financialization (making money from money, not real value).

C. Money as a Goal, Not a Tool

  • Hoarding mentality: The wealthy accumulate money instead of circulating it.
  • Speculation over primary necessities: Essential goods like food, housing, and healthcare become financialized, traded as commodities rather than guaranteed rights. Hedge funds speculate on grain prices while millions starve; private equity buys up hospitals and cuts staff for profits.
  • Finance dominates real value creation: Stock buybacks exceed R&D spending; derivatives trading dwarfs productive investment.

2. The New Financial System: Key Reforms

A. Sovereign Money Creation (Ending Private Bank Money Creation)

  • Full Reserve Banking: Banks can only lend existing money, not create it.
  • State-issued money: Governments create debt-free money for public spending (Modern Monetary Theory, MMT).
  • Example: The Chicago Plan (1930s) proposed this to prevent bank runs.

B. Replacing Interest with Alternative Models

  • Islamic Finance Principles:
    • Profit-sharing (Mudaraba) instead of interest.
    • Asset-backed financing (Murabaha).
  • Public Banking: State banks offering interest-free credit (e.g., Bank of North Dakota).
  • Negative Interest on Hoarded Money (Silvio Gesell’s idea to discourage accumulation).

C. Replacing All Taxation with a Financial Transaction Tax (FTT)

  • A single, progressive FTT (0.1%-1%) on all financial transactions: stocks, bonds, derivatives, forex, crypto.
    • Replaces income tax, VAT, corporate tax, simplifying the system and reducing bureaucracy.
    • Targets speculation: High-frequency trading (HFT) and derivatives would bear the heaviest burden.
    • Funds public services: Revenue from FTT replaces lost tax income, funding healthcare, education, and infrastructure.
  • Advantages:
    • Reduces wealth inequality: The top 1% conducts 90% of speculative trades (IMF data).
    • Stabilizes markets: Discourages short-term gambling (e.g., 2008 crisis).
    • Encourages productive investment: Long-term holdings are taxed less than millisecond trades.
  • Historical Precedent:
    • The UK’s stamp duty (0.5% on shares) reduced volatility without harming growth.
    • Sweden’s 1980s FTT (later repealed due to globalization pressures, showing the need for global coordination).

D. Complementary & Local Currencies

  • LETS (Local Exchange Trading Systems): Community-based, interest-free exchange.
  • Cryptocurrencies with Fixed Supply (e.g., Bitcoin, but with better energy efficiency).

3. Obstacles to Transition & How to Overcome Them

A. Resistance from Financial Elites

  • Problem: Banks, hedge funds, and corporations profit from speculation and debt-based money.
  • Solution:
    • Mass movements (e.g., Occupy Wall Street with clear demands).
    • Whistleblowing (expose how speculation harms food/healthcare access).

B. Political Capture by Banks

  • Problem: Politicians depend on financiers for funding.
  • Solution:
    • Public election financing (ban private donations).
    • Citizen assemblies to draft monetary reforms.

C. Fear of Economic Shock

  • Problem: Sudden FTT implementation could trigger capital flight.
  • Solution:
    • Gradual phase-in: Start with a 0.1% FTT, then scale up.
    • International cooperation: G20-wide FTT to prevent tax havens.

D. Public Misunderstanding

  • Problem: Many believe “taxes are inevitable” and don’t question money creation.
  • Solution:
    • Education: Explain how FTT could abolish income tax.
    • Media campaigns: Compare speculation taxes to Robin Hood policies.

4. The Psychological Shift: From Hoarding to Circulating Money

The deepest issue is human behavior:

  • Greed vs. Need: The current system rewards accumulation, not circulation.
  • Solution:
    • Demurrage currency: Money loses value if hoarded (encourages spending).
    • Basic Income: Reduces scarcity mindset.
    • Ethical finance: Praise circulating wealth, not hoarding (e.g., Islamic charity principles).

Conclusion: A Realistic Path Forward

The transition requires:

  1. Ending private money creation.
  2. Abolishing interest with profit-sharing models.
  3. Replacing all taxes with FTT; punishing speculation, not labor.
  4. Cultural change: Money as a tool for exchange, not a god to worship.

The obstacles are powerful but not invincible. History shows that unjust systems collapse when enough people awaken and build alternatives.

Creating awareness in the street

“Copy, paste and share.”

A Fairer Money System Is Possible – Here’s How We Get There

Right now, our money system is broken. A handful of big banks create money out of nothing, charge us interest on it, and force the economy to grow endlessly, even though we live on a planet with limited resources. This makes rich bankers and speculators even richer while ordinary people struggle with debt, unaffordable housing, and rising food prices. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We can build a better system, one where money works for everyone, not just the wealthy few.

What’s Wrong With the Current System?

Today, almost all money is created as debt. When banks make loans, they don’t lend out existing money, they create new money out of thin air and charge interest on it. This means our entire economy runs on borrowed money, forcing us to keep growing just to pay back the interest. Meanwhile, Wall Street speculators gamble on food prices, housing, and even healthcare, turning basic human needs into profit machines while millions suffer.

The system is designed to make the rich richer. The more money you have, the more you earn from interest and investments, without doing any real work. Meanwhile, workers pay taxes on their wages while billionaires exploit loopholes. It’s not fair, and it’s not sustainable.

How Do We Fix It?

We need three key changes:

  1. Stop Banks from Creating MoneyMoney should be created by governments, not private banks. That way, we can fund schools, hospitals, and green energy without drowning in debt.
  2. Replace Interest with Fair ExchangeInstead of charging interest (which makes the poor poorer), banks could share profits or lend without interest for essential needs like housing and small businesses.
  3. Tax Speculation, Not WorkA tiny tax on stock trades (just 0.1%) could replace income tax and VAT. Why tax workers when we can tax billionaires who gamble on the stock market?

What’s Stopping Us?

The biggest obstacle is the banks and billionaires who profit from the current system. They lobby politicians, control the media, and make sure nothing changes. But history shows that when enough people demand reform, change happens.

What Can You Do?

  • Educate yourself and others – Most people don’t even know banks create money. Spread the word.
  • Support ethical banks – Move your money to credit unions or public banks that don’t exploit debt.
  • Demand political action – Vote for leaders who challenge the banking system and support fair taxes on speculation.

A Better Future Is Possible

We don’t have to accept a system where money rules over people. If we work together, we can create an economy where money serves us, not the other way around. The first step is realizing the problem. The next step is taking action.

Will you join the movement?

The Coming Financial Collapse

“It is closer than we think.”

Warning Signs and How to Prepare

The Western financial system is showing dangerous cracks. While no one can predict exactly when a full collapse will happen, the warning signs are clear and growing worse. Here’s what to watch for, and how to protect yourself when the system fails.

Signs the Financial System Is Failing

  1. Bank Runs and Bail-Ins
    • When people lose trust in banks, they withdraw cash en masse (like with Silicon Valley Bank in 2023).
    • Governments may impose “bail-ins”, stealing depositors’ money to “save” failing banks (as happened in Cyprus, 2013).
  2. Hyperinflation or Deflation
    • Hyperinflation: When money printing goes wild (like in Weimar Germany or Zimbabwe), prices skyrocket, and savings become worthless.
    • Deflation: Banks stop lending, businesses collapse, and unemployment soars (like the 1930s Depression).
  3. Stock Market Crashes & Bond Meltdowns
    • Stocks and bonds are in a historic bubble. When they crash, pensions and 401(k)s will evaporate.
    • U.S. Treasury bonds (the “safest” asset) are losing value as faith in government debt collapses.
  4. Currency Wars & De-Dollarization
    • Countries like China, Russia, and Saudi Arabia are dumping the U.S. dollar.
    • If the dollar loses reserve status, America’s debt-based economy implodes.
  5. Government Crackdowns on Cash & Crypto
    • CBDCs (Central Bank Digital Currencies) will replace cash, allowing total financial control.
    • They will freeze accounts, impose spending limits, and track every transaction.

How to Prepare Before It Happens

1. Get Your Money Out of Banks

  • Hold physical cash (in small bills) in case ATMs shut down.
  • Use credit unions or local banks (less likely to fail than mega-banks like JPMorgan).
  • Buy gold & silver (real money that can’t be printed away).

2. Protect Your Income & Assets

  • Own hard assets: Land, farmland, tools, and anything useful in a crisis.
  • Learn barter skills: Repair, medical, farming, things people will trade for.
  • Diversify income: Side hustles that don’t rely on the system (e.g., gardening, handyman work).

3. Prepare for Supply Chain Collapse

  • Stockpile food, water filters, medicine (supermarkets have just 3 days of food).
  • Grow your own food (even a small garden helps).
  • Have backup power (solar panels, generators).

4. Expect Government Lies & Blame Games

  • Politicians will blame “greedy corporations,” “foreign enemies,” or “conspiracy theorists.”
  • They will impose capital controls (limits on withdrawals, forced asset seizures).
  • Solution: Stay under the radar. Don’t trust mainstream media, seek independent news.

5. Build a Local Network

  • In a collapse, community matters more than money.
  • Trade skills, protect each other, and avoid dependence on the state.

What Happens After the Collapse?

  • A new system will replace the old one, likely a CBDC dictatorship or a barter/parallel economy.
  • Those prepared will survive; those dependent on the system will suffer.

The collapse is not a question of if, but when. The elites know it’s coming, they’re preparing (buying bunkers, farmland, and gold).

The Brutal and Deliberately Forgotten Korean War

Par : AHH

“Unrestricted submarine warfare, unrestricted air bombing . . . this is total war. Time and the ocean and some guiding star and High Cabal have made us what we are.”

By Professor Dr. Syed Mujahid Kamran at Daily Pakistan.

The Korean War fought between Communist forces of North Korea, the U.S. puppet regime of the South and eventually involving the U.S. through the U.N. and the People’s Republic of China, was a brutal genocidal war, which has been consigned to well-thought-out oblivion by the Anglo-American Establishment. The Korean war broke out on the night of June 24 and 25, 1950 when the forces of Kim Il Sung attempted to unify Korea within one month. They almost succeeded.  U.S. intervention, backed by the UN, eventually stopped and reversed the tide. The Chinese then entered the war against the advice of Stalin. The war ended on 27 July 1953 with an armistice. The South Koreans (ROK – Republic of Korea) never signed a treaty with the North Koreans (DPRK Democratic People’s Republic of Korea).

Were it not for the U.S. intelligence officer Col. L. Fletcher Prouty, nobody would have known that the Korean and Vietnam wars were planned during the dying days of WWII. It was Prouty who first wrote about Churchill’s extremely important statement regarding the High Cabal. Prouty narrates that at the height of WWII, Churchill, upon hearing of the bombing of Rotterdam, remarked: “Unrestricted submarine warfare, unrestricted air bombing . . . this is total war. Time and the ocean and some guiding star and High Cabal have made us what we are.” The High Cabal is a set of the wealthiest families on the planet that operate in complete and sinister secrecy and anonymity, and who have amassed their huge wealth through instigated wars and usurious lending to warring nations. Churchill knew of the High Cabal because he was their asset. It was the High Cabal that had planned the Korean and Vietnam wars in the dying days of WWII. The great bloodshed of WWII had not yet ended when they had begun planning the next one.

Despite enormous damage done to Japan by aerial bombardment, invasion of Japan was considered essential to secure “unconditional” surrender. Thus when the island of Okinawa became available as a launching pad for such an invasion, supplies and equipment for half a million men was piled up in Okinawa. The use of the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki secured unconditional Japanese surrender rendering the piles of equipment on Okinawa Island redundant. Prouty happened to be on Okinawa Island on the date of the Japanese surrender. He narrates “Almost immediately, U.S. Navy transport vessels began to show up in Naha Harbor, Okinawa. This vast load of war material was reloaded onto those ships.”

During some business at the harbor, Prouty casually asked the harbormaster if the material was being loaded for return to the United States. He writes that he was surprised by the direct response of the harbormaster: “Hell, no! They ain’t never goin’ to see it again. One-half of this stuff, enough to equip and support at least a hundred and fifty thousand men, is going to Korea, and the other half is going to Indochina.” Prouty notes: “In 1945, none of us had any idea that the first battles of the Cold War were going to be fought by U.S. military units in these regions beginning in 1950 and 1965 – yet that is precisely what had been planned, and it is precisely what happened.” The natural question that arises is who decided that the equipment be sent to these regions? Prouty asks: “Who made that decision back in 1943-45? Who selected Syngman Rhee and Ho Chi Minh to be our new allies as early as mid-1945?” Referring to the High Cabal as the power elite Prouty writes: “This is another one of those windows that permits us to see that some decision had to have been made in some detail by the power elite, yet there is absolutely no record of who made the decisions and for what purpose.” The information provided by Col. Prouty must never be lost sight of when discussing the Korean and Vietnam wars and the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

The High Cabal considers the entire globe with all its resources as “real estate”, meant to be captured by force or otherwise, and to be put to use for their profits. The High Cabal also believes in a Malthusian philosophy. In the words of Col. Prouty: “The Malthusian theory thus provides a rationalization for the necessity of somehow getting rid of large numbers of people, any people, in any way – even genocide.” The High Cabal has an argument that runs as follows: “Earth will never be able to support the progeny of so many anyhow. From this point of view, genocide – then as now – is accepted as all but inevitable. Who cares and why be concerned?” Finally the High Cabal has a Darwinian mindset. Those who survive and dominate are the “fittest” and have the right to kill off all other races.

The Korean and Vietnam wars reflect the genocidal, Malthusian and Darwinian mindset of the High Cabal. The same is true of the post 9/11 wars in the Middle East.

On the day after the atom bomb was dropped on Hiroshima, Rockefeller agent John J. McCloy in the War Department held a meeting with Truman’s foreign policy advisor Dean Acheson and Charles Bonesteel of Pentagon to discuss the division of Korea which had been under Japanese occupation. They chose the 38th Parallel as the dividing line because it included the city of Seoul. The Soviet troops entered North Korea on August 8 and seem to have accepted the 38th Parallel as the dividing line. As a result Korean occupation by Japan was replaced by occupation by the U.S. and the Soviet Union. The U.S. forces entered South Korea on September 8, 1945 and soon occupied it south of the 38th Parallel.

The United States established a military government in South Korea. Its intelligence agents picked up several hundred Koreans, who had been Japanese collaborators, to aid the U.S. in running South Korea. The occupation of Korea by the Soviet Union and the United States was occupation of a country that was not a belligerent. Korea was not at war with the Allies or any other party. Thus the end of WWII resulted in the replacement of Japanese occupation of Korea by the U.S. and the U.S.S.R. It also resulted in a division of Korea along the 38th Parallel.

Bruce Cummings writes in his book The Korean War that within three weeks of the start of the war a Chinese military intelligence group arrived in Pyongyang. Further, as early as August 4, Chairman Mao decided that if the Americans were to invade the North, China must come to the aid of the North in the name of a volunteer army. When, in mid-September 1950, General MacArthur masterminded the Inchon amphibious landing employing 270 ships, a high level North Korean officer requested Chinese help. On October 1, 1950, Kim Il Sung met the Chinese ambassador to request that the 13th Army Corps of the PLA come to their aid by crossing the Yalu River. Stalin opposed a major Chinese involvement fearing wider war, but Mao went ahead, much to Stalin’s surprise, and sent twelve infantry divisions to help the North Koreans. Stalin, however, backed off from a promise of air cover and that paved the way for aerial genocide of Koreans by the USAF. Apparently the October 1, 1950 crossing of the 38th parallel by the Chinese caused Mao a sleepless night, but he went ahead and informed Stalin the next day. Mao’s decision to back Kim ll Sung was based upon Mao’s straightforward determination that if the Korean struggle faltered, China was bound to support the Korean Communists in view of their great sacrifices during the Chinese revolution and their resistance against the Japanese.

As early as October 1950, General George Stratemeyer of USAF sought permission to attack a provincial capital Sinuiju. The city of Sinuiju had a population of around 60,000 and Strtaemeyer  wanted to bomb  “over the widest area of the city, without warning, by burning and high explosive”.

Such was the inhuman and genocidal mindset of the American establishment.

Gen. MacArthur denied this request initially. However, on November 3, 1950, MacArthur agreed to a firebombing campaign, accepting Stratemeyer’s request to burn Kanggye: “Burn it if you so desire. Not only that, Strat, but burn and destroy as a lesson to any other of those towns that you consider of military value to the enemy.” The firebombing of Sinuiju was also approved on November 3, 1950. The instructions were noted in summary in Stratemeyer’s diary as follows: “Every installation, facility, and village in North Korea now becomes a military and tactical target.” Stratemeyer gave the following inhuman orders to his bombers: “[D]estroy every means of communications and every installation, factory, city, and village”. Two days later, on November 5, Stratemeyer ordered the destruction of “all other targets including all buildings capable of affording shelter.” On that day, 75% of the city of Kanggye was destroyed by USAF bombers! These massive war crimes against civilian populations of North Korea were committed by the U.S. with impunity. North Koreans have done well not to forget this inhumanity.

The Allied forces had discovered during WWII that it was easier to burn down a city than to blow it up. Thermite sticks bundled together in millions supplemented by mixtures of benzene, phosphorous and other things were employed to set cities on fire. The resulting firebombs could set cities ablze and incinerate them in minutes. On March 16, 1945, the city of Wurzburg was burnt in a mere seventeen minutes!

The development of firebombing represents perhaps the most painful, inhuman and sadistic development in aerial warfare.

When Dresden was firebombed one eye witness who survived described “young women carrying babies running up and down the streets, their dresses and hair on fire, screaming until they fell down, or collapsing buildings fell on top of them.” Firebombing was conceived and developed by the brutal and utterly inhuman Anglo-American alliance. It burns innocent civilians and is a war crime of the highest magnitude.

The American military leaders decided to repeat the firebombing of WWII in North Korea. Germans had an air force and effective anti-aircraft fire that caused significant losses to Allied forces. But North Korea did not have any air force and thus had no air cover. Under these circumstances the bombing and firebombing of North Korea was a one sided affair. Not only was it one sided, the Americans dropped more bombs on North Korea in less than three years than the bombs used in the Pacific theater during the entire WWII. In the Pacific theater the Allies dropped 503,000 tons of bombs during WWII. The U.S. dropped 635,000 tons of bombs on North Korea and an additional 32,557 tons of napalm! Please note that napalm burns at temperatures ranging from 800 to 1200 degree Centigrade. It burns longer than gasoline and adheres to its targets making death much more painful for the victims.

The USAF seemed to have a penchant for napalm bombs because they inflicted the greatest possible pain on their unfortunate victims. General Ridgeway wanted heavier and better napalm bombs. He desired thousand pound versions to be dropped on targets in 1951. The object was to “wipe out all life in tactical locality and save the life of our soldiers.”  On one occasion when American soldiers fell victim to “friendly” fire of napalm, their suffering was described by a witness James Ransome. His men rolled in agony in the snow and begged him to shoot them because the burning of their skin by napalm was unbearable. Their skin burned and peeled back “like fried potato chips”.  This was the wonder weapon of the USAF!

Gen. Curtis LeMay, who, in the humble opinion of this author was too trigger happy and brutal to be entrusted with serious responsibility, and who may have played a minor role in the Kennedy assassination, wanted to burn down the big cities of North Korea at the very beginning of the war. The Pentagon ruled that “it’s too horrible”. Yet, in an oral history record, LeMay stated that over a three year period “We burned down every town in North Korea, and South Korea too . . . Now over a three year period this is palatable, but to kill a few people to stop this from happening – a lot of people can’t stomach it.” Such was the nature of attacks on the cities and towns of Korea that no sane person can stomach it. On July 11, 1952 a total of 1,264 air sorties over Pyongyang were carried out by B 29 bombers during daytime, followed by 54 sorties at night. Imagine what the residents of this city went though. Imagine the inhumanity of the Anglo-American Establishment, the champions of human rights, democracy and all that crap. The attack on Pyongyang was to be followed by similar attacks on thirty other cities and industrial centers as part of operation “Pressure Pump”.

Col. Fletcher Prouty has noted: “There had been a Malthusian movement, concealed at all times from the public, to uproot and destroy the existing and traditional system of communal society in many parts of the world. The activists of this movement fear the strength of the peasant and the ways of peasant life. They much prefer a society of dependent consumers. Indochina and Korea were the prime targets during the post-World War II decades.” Bruce Cummings has noted: “Korea recapitulated the air force’s mantra from World War II, that firebombing would erode enemy morale and end the war sooner, but the interior intent was to destroy Korean society down to the individual constituents.”

In May 1952, the great Suiho Dam on Yalu river was attacked. It was second only to the Hoover dam in the entire world. However, for fear of provoking the Chinese and Russians it was not demolished.  In order to deprive the North Korean population of the 250,000 tons of rice that was to be harvested the USAF targeted its dams. In May 1953, soon after rice had been planted, three dams were hit by the USAF bombers. These were the Tukson, Chasan and Kuwonga dams. These were major dams. On May 13, 1953 fifty-nine bombers were used to breach the high wall of Toksan dam. The first breach at Toksan “scooped clean twenty-seven miles of river valley, and sent water gushing into Pyongyang.” The breach in Toksan generated a flood of onrushing water that destroyed “six miles of railway, five bridges, two miles of high way and five square miles of rice paddies.”  After the war it took “200,000 man-days of labor to reconstruct the reservoir.”

Gen. William F. Dean was the highest ranking military officer  (Major Gen.) to be captured by the North Koreans. When he was released from captivity he narrated that “the town of Huichon amazed me. The city I’d seen before – two-storied buildings, a prominent main street – wasn’t there any more.” Gen. Dean described “unocuupied shells” of “town after town, and villages where rubble or ‘snowy open spaces’ were all that remained.” The destruction caused by US. Bombing was total and ubiquitous. The Hungarian writer Tibor Meray told a Thames TV team: “I saw destruction and horrible things committed by American forces.” As he said:”Everything that moved in North Korea was a military target, peasants in the fields were often machine gunned by pilots who, this was my impression, amused themselves to shoot the targets which moved.” Such was the scale and nature of inhumanity of the Americans.

In his book Bruce Cummings has cited Meray, who arrived in Korea in August 1951 to witness “a complete devastation between the Yalu River and the capital” {Pyongyang). Meray states that there were just “no more cities in North Korea.” Because of continual bombing their party was compelled to travel by night. Meray states: “We traveled in moonlight, so my impression was that I am traveling on the moon, because there was only devastation . . . every city was a collection of chimneys. I don’t know why houses collapsed and chimneys did not, but I went through a city of 200,000 inhabitants and I saw thousands of chimneys and that – that was all.”

The absolute and inhuman and criminal destruction of North Korean cities has been concealed from the world and the insouciant U.S. public.

Such was the scale of barbarity and brutality of the U.S. forces that eighteen out of twenty two major cities of North Korea were obliterated. A partial table has been provided by Cumings. The percentage of destruction of seven cities has been given as follows: Pyongyang 75%, Chongjin 65%, Hamhung 80%, Hungnam 85%, Sinanju 100%, Sariwon 95%, and Wonsan 80%.  Cumings quotes an official American history source: “So, we killed civilians, friendly civilians, and bombed their homes, fired whole villages with the occupants – women and children, and ten times as many hidden Communist soldiers – under showers of napalm, and the pilots came back to their ships stinking of vomit twisted from their vitals by the shock of what they had to do.”

On March 10, 1951 Gen. Douglas MacArthur requested “’D’ Day atomic capability” to retain air superiority in the war. The request was made in view of intelligence information that the Soviet Union was ready to move its air divisions into Manchuria, in the vicinity of Korea, coupled with the massing of huge Chinese forces near the Korean border . These Soviet air divisions could strike, not just targets in Korea, but also U.S. bases in Okinawa. By the end of March 1951, atomic bomb loading capabilities an air base in Okinawa wee operational.  Around this time Gen. MacArthur was removed and in the ensuing confusion, an April 6 order of President Truman, ordering use of atomic weapons against Korean and Chinese  targets was never transmitted! Reviewing A.B. Abram’s 2024 book Surviving the Unipolar Era, Richard C. Cook writes: “During the war, U.S. commander Douglas MacArthur recommended nuclear strikes against 26 Korean and Chinese targets. These were deterred by the Soviet Union’s possession of a nuclear strike capability that could be used against American East Asian bases. The Korean War also led China to believe it needed a nuclear deterrent against the U.S.”

Operation Hudson Harbor sought to establish the capability of using nuclear weapons in the battlefield in Korea. As late as September and October 1951 B-29 bombers were sent over Korea simulating atomic bomb runs. These planes were loaded with dummy A bombs or heavy TNT bombs. Thus, in 1951, the possibility of use of nuclear weapons in Korea was serious. The project seemed to indicate that nuclear weapons might not be useful simpy because timely identification of large numbers of enemy troops was extremely rare.

Cummings notes: ”But one can imagine the steel nerves required of leaders in Pyongyang, observing a lone  B-29 simulating the attack lines that had resulted in the devastation of Hiroshima and Nagasaki  just six years earlier, each time unsure whether the  bomb was real or dummy.”

In 1950 the total population of Korea was around 31.1 million. Of this 20 million resided in South Korea and the remaining 11.1 million in North Korea. A B Abrams pointsout that “Altogether, three to four million North Koreans died in the war, a number declared by many observers to be genocidal.” Additionally about six million became homeless. Thus about one third of the Korean population was either killed or became homeless. This massive human tragedy was caused by a power drunk, Malthusian and inhuman U.S. Establishment. The Anglo-American Establishment, working for the international banking families, is the greatest criminal and genocidal force in the entire annals of human history. Their crimes by far surpass any crimes against humanity committed by any other force in history.

The North Koreans have never bowed before the United States. They have survived the collapse of the Soviet Union in the 1990s, followed by disasters, likely US manipulated, that brought it to the brink of starvation. It has been a at war with the US and its lackeys for 75 years now because there never was a peace treaty and a state of war persists. Faced by persistent U.S. attempts to destroy it North Korea has developed massive underground fortifications and a deterrent capability of dropping H bombs on U.S. mainland. It has thus forced the U.S. to back down in its attempt to attack North Korea. Hats off to the leadership and people of North Korea.
